Sometimes it’s hard to remember that superstars are normal people, too.
Jeremy Lin went to high school in my area. As if I needed more reinforcement that he started out the same as the rest of us (before freakin’ five amazing games made him world/internet famous), I found this lovely image on the internet. It’s from 2004–oh my god, that was 8 years ago. I was in 7th grade or something.
I’ve seen Jeremy Lin on Youtube with Kevjumba and Nigahiga, so you know the dude has a sense of humor. 8 years ago? Oh god, this is adorable.

But Reddit has turned the poor guy into a meme. I don’t know how he feels about being put in millions of rage comics where he is lighting spiders on fire. Actually, no one likes spiders, so I’m sure he doesn’t mind that part. But there are plenty of other situations that digi-Yao has been put into that are less than savory.

whoever they are (i guess it must be either the patriots or the giants, because they were the only two playing. oh ho, i do crack myself up sometimes.). heck, it’s not like i pay attention to sports or anything. the only effect the super bowl had on my life was an excess of free food.speaking of food, i’m hungry. maybe it’s dinner time now. or after i finish writing this post. nutrition is important, but rankmaniac 2012 comes first!

If you haven’t heard, New York Knicks rookie Jeremy Lin (Number 17), had a freakin amazing night where he led his team to victory over the New Jersey Nets. He also happens to be my personal favorite. I’m not going to pretend that I watched the game or anything, but I follow the dude on Youtube and he’s hilarious (he burned KevJumba on the matter of college). Am I a bandwagon jumper? Nah, just a blind admirer, I suppose.
